The Small Business Committee under the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is currently co-chaired by Donna Krum of Friends First Marketing and Oscar Camacho of Commonwealth Development Authority. The Committee provides a venue for all member businesses to bring ideas for the betterment of our community, to strengthen our workforce, and to retain employees. The one-hour meeting each month offers ideas and feedback which makes our Chamber stronger and more effective.

Several years ago, one great idea blossomed into the training seminars now offered by the Chamber in partnership with Island Training Solutions and with other experts. The Committee hosts educational seminars on various business topics throughout the year. These seminars give businesses a chance to improve the skills of managers and employees, which in turn helps employee retention. While many larger businesses have their own training programs in place, many do not. We hope to help fill this gap by offering the expertise of our Chamber members.  If you have an area of expertise you wish to share with our membership, please contact us at 670-234-7150 or email coordinator@saipanchamber.com.

For more information on our Small Business training seminars, visit our Events & Programs section HERE.

We welcome all ideas and suggestions for ways to improve our businesses. We are also very interested in  learning about your struggles and hardships so that we may work together to find solutions. The Small Business Committee meets at 10am on the second Wednesday of each month in the SCC conference room (3rd floor of Marianas Business Plaza).
